Rom 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
You suffer for many things, both material and immaterial. For peace, pleasure and security you have labored and suffered much pain believing that which you gained was worth it. You earn money and trade that toil for something you consider valuable: A $100 for something you want of equivalent value.
However when it comes to eternal life and the pleasure thereafter you suffer a little for an incalculable payoff. You have suffered life and loss, you have put off the flesh. You have given your labor away in the form of cash, time, and care. All total it will never buy you Heaven or compensate God for all he has done and will do for you. All pain at the time seems unbearable but you know the prize is coming. You know it pays real well. Press on and never look back.
He who trusts in the Lord will not be disappointed.
