4/14 The Devil will Flee

James 4:7-8 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you.

What a weapon and what a promise this is. In submission to God, drawing near to him, we can push out the enemy from our lives.

In crushing, mental chaos, when you are down, when things seem dark, we can have our sanity back. We are not required to suffer in this place. We don’t have to give way to despair. The presence of God pushes out the presence of Satan

Hear lies the key. These are facts but will you take faith to push through is the question. Will you trust him enough to exercise these protective measures or find a weak substitute? Determine now to apply these in prayer…worship him, thank him and claim your hope.
