Not a Fan: Becoming a Completely Committed Follower of Jesus

“Not a Fan: Becoming a Completely Committed Follower of Jesus ” is right on! Kyle Idleman writes with conviction.not a fan

He makes it clear that Jesus wants it all; our whole life and commitment. Jesus won’t compromise! For eternal life he requires a faith the draws you to the brink and says jump!

He uses the same scriptures I often use to support this argument. Matt 7:21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

He criticizes cutting the cost of the gospel and trying to lure people through a half gospel by pastors.

He draws a comparison between admirers of Jesus and followers….followers are saved!

It is meant to lead others to salvation instead of convincing they are okay with Christ. Great compassion!

I like the message but it is long winded. I give it 4 of 5 stars!
